The waves rolled in under light, spotty Clouds...

down at the Beach today...

The Storm blew away last night...

on a gentle offshore breeze...

leaving the Beach at Peace...

Calm and Colorful at 48th Street, VB, 5.30.12

The Sun rose over calm Seas...

climbing through colorful Clouds...

down at the Beach today...

A light offshore breeze was warm...

like the water that surged around my feet...

as the Waves soothed the Shoreline...

and footprints faded away...

Golden Light at 48th Street, VB, 5.29.12

Silver Clouds shrouded First Light...

down at the Beach today...

and hid the Sun...

'til it cleared the Cloudbank...

As i walked off the Beach...

i looked back...

and saw a beautiful Golden Light...

as the Sun freed itself...

and lit up the Clouds and Sea...

And i walked back...

to savor the scene...

and to remind myself...

not to leave too early...

The Clouds rushed in...

down at the Beach today...

A strong offshore breeze...

piled the Clouds on the rising Sun...

and pushed down the swell...

quickly changing the character of the young day...

sailed off the Sun...

A touch of color...

to brighten the horizon...

A fine Beach Day...

The Tide was busy...

down at the Beach today...

Some new cuts in the Sand...

appeared overnight...

And a little Rip was busy...

pushing against the Tide...

right up close in the Wash...

Not the usual flow of things...

Changes are coming to the Beach...

as Summer slips up upon us...

Hidden Sun at 48th Street, VB, 5.25.12

The Sun rose behind thick blue clouds...

down at the Beach today...

Some color leaked out around the edges...

along with a few light puffs of a breeze...

But all's still...

like a field just before a battle...

bracing for the onslaught...

these next few days will bring...
