The Sun rose...
down at the Beach today...
But i wasn't there...
Took up an invite from a friend...
I hadn't seen in a while...
He and i...
and a couple of other guys...
all strangers to each other then...
but bonded by our love of fishing...
and the waters..
and small boats...
and a desire to change the way things were done...
laid the foundation...
and set the example...
and created a fishin' club...
that really did change things...
if only for a while...
It was a good day on the water...
catchin' up with an old friend...
And fresh Tog (Tautog) for dinner...
