Ooops at 48th Street, VB, 11.10.13

Picked up a Shell...

down at the Beach today...

A Favorite of mine...

i've found 'em from...

Cape Cod to Florida...

Shark Eye Moon Snail...

great name...

Anyway...

i picked it up...

looked it over...

and put it...

in my pocket...

Took it home...

and put it on the...

kitchen counter...

An hour later...

pourin' more Coffee...

i noticed the Shell...

had moved...

and left a...

sandy trail...

Hmmmmmmmm...

i said...

and lifted the Shell...

There was a...

Hermit Crab...

in it's...

softshell phase...

Resisting the Impulse...

to roll it in flour...

and saute it...

i gave it a quick...

inspection...

It was alive...

but helpless...

so i tucked it...

back in it's Shell...

grabbed my coat...

and put it back...

in the Sea...

Offshore breeze...

that parted...

the Mists...

just enough...

to peek offshore...

and catch...

the Navy...

passin' by...

Dolphins...

A Fiery Start...

down at the Beach today...

The scattered Clouds...

caught the...

Rising Sun's...

Rays...

Flinging them...

across the Sky...

and the...

Wet Sands...

threw them right back...

The Show...

quickly faded...

as the Sun climbed...

But for a little while...

Magic...

claimed...

the Beach...
