Rainy at 48th Street, VB, 3.31.12

Smooth rolling swells...
down at the Beach, today...
Light rain and clouds...
hid the Sunrise... 
and kept everyone else away...
Monotone greys...
are pretty in their own way...
down at the Beach...
establishing a well known mood...
of the ever changing Sea...




But wait...
there is some color today...
along the tideline...
A solitary rose...
still fresh...
cast into the Sea in remembrance... 
of a departed Love...
has washed ashore...
to remind us all...
How fitting the rain...
that frames this scene...
