Seas 'n Trees... blues 'n greens...

Because the Natural World is Awesome...

New images mostly every day, fresh from Virginia Beach... featuring Sunrises and the Magic that happens where the Sky, the Surf, and the Sand collide and mix into that Mystical State we call the Beach...
So, sit back and enjoy the view... although all the Elements are the same, they mix in entirely different and exciting ways every day... if you can't actually be on the Beach, I'll show you how it was...

Harsh, at 48th Street, VB, 3.18.13

Nasty...
down at the Beach today...
cold, spittin' rain...
driven by a stiff...
Nor'east breeze...
One of those mornin's...
where you wonder...
why you're there...

Watching in vain...
for some Sunlight...
to fight it's way through...
those thick, wet Clouds...
Pushing your way...
into the wind...
across the Sands...
cold water finding it's way...
through your clothes...
no matter how you dress...

Tuned in to the Gulls...
hearing their cries...
and getting a whiff...
of salt and...
rotting Seaweed...
Casting your eyes...
over the Sea...
searching for signs of Life...
coming up empty...
today...

Out there...
in the Weather...
wondering why you're there...
instead of sitting...
at a warm, dry kitchen table...
waking up gracefully...
listenin' to someone else's view...
of what's goin' on...
