Fourth of July- Biggest Beach Day of the Year at 48th Street, VB, 7.4.13

Except...
it's Closed...
down at the Beach today...

Wow...
just F'n WoW...
they really did that...
i said to myself...
over and over...
as i walked around the fence...
and the warning signs...
to get to the Surf...

When i moved here...
seven or eight years ago...
and looked around...
a thought struck me...
They do all the City Planning...
on Soggy Cocktail Napkins...
at Two AM...
and that thought...
has been reinforced...
over and over...
ever since...

Welcome to Virginia Beach...
