The Storm has passed...
down at the Beach today...
leaving the Sand washed and fresh...
The Sea is quiet...
there's bait a little offshore...
for the Pelicans to divebomb...
Dogs walk the Beach...
and the Surfers are out...
So, the weekend begins...

Just a Peek at the Sun at 48th Street, VB, 6.12.12

All was grey and overcast...
'til i got over the dune...
down at the Beach today...
A little sliver of light...
divided the edge of the World...
from the Clouds...
And the Sun played there...
for a few minutes...
before slipping into the grey shroud...
